I am wondering what an operation is, and how to get it. It shows it on the top right corner when you are selecting where to control. Here is a image.
Thanks! Its how many times you have done an ATC session.
An operation is counted for each clearance issued. This includes tower takeoff and landing clearances along with approach clearances for the ILS and GPS which are worth more operations. A user can also gain an operation for aircraft serviced with radar vectors or flight following while working a radar facility.

Ok, is my operations good for a non IFATC person?
Ohh I thought it was how many times you did ATC. my bad
Well many IFATC have a TON of operations like anywhere from 10,000 to 60,000 etc…
Is that enough to tryout for IFATC?
I think for IFATC its 500
4000 is impressive for a non-IFATC. Seasoned IFATC controllers have anywhere from 50k to 150k, and @GHamsz holds the record with about 590,000. To apply, you’ll need at least 500. :)
Woah that’s a lot!
Wow 590K that’s insane… my goodness
