During the past week, IFGAF has been running relief supplies to the devastated area of Western NC. FEMA has delivered all the supplies to us in Atlanta via KMGE (Dobbin Air Reserve Base).
From there, IFGAF is transporting supplies by any means necessary to the affected area of Ashville NC via KAVL (Ashville Regional). So far, GAF has delivered203 Pallets equaling 839,000lbs of relief supplies.
Below is our very own VCSAF Gen. Jim delivery what he can in his C-32B (mainly used for DOD Spec Ops missions) While our commander of the 465th ARS flying in his dual certification C-17 with 18 Pallets of relief supplies.
IFAGF will continue to do what ever is necessary to provide supplies and assets to the areas that we’re affected by this tragic event.
