The problem Is the tracker that they have to update the photos. But there Is a huge community loke waypoint that can make them

That’s not about the trackers, they all are 3rd party apps, they are not runned by IF devs.
As was told before everything in matter of how many liveries can be kept on server side

I think if this happened, maybe the custom liveries could only show in multiplayer if you download the livery. If not maybe the planes will stay generic or won’t show up at all. Idk. I just want this lmaoo

Sort of. Just for liveries and it wouldn’t be an add on, only select liveries would be added. Similarity is community members create for variety.

i feel like this could be a good idea. although instead of just anyone being able to make one maybe only tl3s could.
and it could operate as a separate area inside the app where you could download liveries not made by the official team so not every livery is automatically on there. kinda like flightsim.to but integrated into the app

With this feature, you can create all the existing Livery that you like.

This would be an awesome feature. With this, we won’t always have to rely on updates that takes months to release just to get new liveries everytime here and there. The community can create non-existent liveries for IF and that opens up to endless routes to fly with those liveries.

I really like the idea of Open Source Livery Templates, and I wanted to suggest a possible system for how community-created liveries could be submitted and reviewed.
The system could work something like this:
1. Only real-world liveries

You would not be allowed to create fictional/non-existent airline liveries.

The livery must be based on a real-world airline and aircraft.
2. High-quality & accurate
Before submitting, the creator should make sure the livery is:

97–100% accurate to the real aircraft.

Created using the highest possible Infinite Flight quality standards.
-
Includes accurate colors, logos, markings, registration, fonts, details, etc.
3. Submit your livery/template
Once completed, the creator can submit their livery/template to the Infinite Flight team for review.
4. Developer review
The developers could then review the submission and decide whether it meets the required standards.
The submission could either be:
Approved
Rejected
If rejected, the creator could potentially receive feedback explaining what needs to be corrected.
5. Approval & release
If the livery is approved, the creator could receive a DM/message such as:
Your livery/template has been approved!
Your submission has passed review and is planned to be included in the 26.4 update.
This would give talented members of the community a way to contribute accurate real-world liveries while still allowing the Infinite Flight team to maintain quality control.
Obviously, this is just an example of how the system could work, and I’m sure the development team would have to decide what requirements, review process, and release system would work best.
I think something like this could be a great way to combine community creativity with Infinite Flight’s quality standards.
