Changelog

New Features

  • Added drag-and-drop flight plan editing on the map and in the flight plan list
    • Insert waypoints by long-pressing and dragging on a flight plan leg
    • Move, replace, reorder, or remove waypoints, including procedure groups, with confirmation prompts when needed
  • Added an updated map item context menu with quick actions and clearer item details

Improvements

  • Improved joystick throttle and reverse feedback
    • Finer throttle control
    • Clearer reverse thrust indication and brake percentage display
  • Improved map and flight plan UI readability and interaction
    • Reduced unnecessary auto-scrolling in lists
    • Updated button styling and list appearance
  • Improved aircraft selection flow, including search, and removed operator mode selection from the aircraft UI
  • Improved flight stats tracking for debrief and logbook data
  • Fixed an issue where AutoPilot+ flight time continued tracking after reaching top of descent

Bug Fixes

  • Red sky at dawn/dusk with cloud cover
  • Fixed joystick controls drawing over modal dialogs
  • Fixed reverse thrust state not clearing correctly after resetting throttle, reverse, or brakes
  • Fixed an issue on iOS 26.x where small input fields could display incorrectly

Yeah, this changelog is the one chief. Great job devs, and thank you for finally solving the red clouds. Love the new quality of life changes as well. :raising_hands::heart:

Can following holding patterns automatically / creating holding patterns as a pilot be added as well?

Not yet. AP/LNAV is one of the toughest things I’ve had to solve… so many corner cases, it’s brutal…

Thanks for the update. While it would be nice to have the update, all good (great) things take time. We appreciate everyone’s hard work in bringing 26.1 to our devices!

Nice! I have a question though, is there anywhere where we can send feedback for the new rendering engine? (I know it’s been quite a bit since it was first released and it’s weird that I’m asking this late, but due to the better performance of the new updates, I’ve managed to experiment more with the beta version now)

And it would be great if the same thing could be done for ATCs as well, because when we give someone a hold pattern, we can’t see their route.

Can you make autopilot pitch and roll speed less aggressive? At this rate you’d literally throw passengers around the cabin
