You probably know the story.
Exactly one year ago on this day, October 29, at this very minute, 6:33 a.m. Jakarta time, JT610, a Boeing 737 MAX 8 with the registration PK-LQP operating from Jakarta to Pengkal Penang crashed into the Java Sea.
Condolences to the 189 passengers on board and all of those who were affected.
This video is honoring the memory of those affected by the crash.
Very sad moment in aviation history…
My thoughts and prayers go to family and friends involved in this incident
Deepest condolences to the victims and the families severely affected by this incident.
My condolences to anybody affected. It is a truly terrible thing.
Well done for getting the right day and even minute by the way!
It feels like it’s only been a month 😧
RIP to the almost 200 on board.
What ya mean lol to the people?
Nothing but respects for everyone that was onboard and their families and friends.
Lol used to mean Lots of Love and now it means laugh out loud.
Anyways, may the souls on board RIP.
I remember how I saw @Swiss post a YouTube “post” (not a video) showing a video of something like Dangerous Airlines to fly. It said lion air with a frown emoji (😔) and i got confused. I googled it, and the rest is obvious
Huh never heard that before. thanks!
Today was also when Delta and Northwest merged, really strange day for aviation.
Very horrible and sad incident…
Seems like just yesterday the 737 Max disaster happened.
Hope they can get it back soon.
Sorry for those who lost anyone.
Lots of love to the families 💓
My deepest condolences to everyone affected by this incident.
By the way, did you all know that the day before the flight crash, the same plane with a different crew was about to crash, but an off-duty pilot in the cockpit who was taking a ride to another place disabled the MCAS and saved the people on board.
However, the next day, a different crew was on board the same plane and unfortunately, we all know what happened.
Truly horrific accident, along with ET302, that claimed so many innocent lives, because of cutting corners.
It is my hope that these disasters, and the problems they brought to light, go on to initiate positive action at Boeing.
Waking up on the morning of October 29th to the news of the crash, will be a moment I will remember for the rest of my life.
RIP to all souls lost to greed and corruption within this industry…
This is a truly devastating day for not just aviation but for the whole world this is the accident that started it all I stand with all the victims of JT610 and their families
