Old Buckenham Airshow 2017

This year, I attended Old Buckenham Airshow on Sunday the 29th of July (yes that’s quite a while ago). Here are some of my best shots from the day:

Pitts S-2B G-DIII of Wildcat Aeros taxiing past the crowds after landing at Old Buck

Boeing PT-17 Stearman in the US Navy livery

Nord Aviation N3202 B1 N78 G-BIZK, a very interesting visitor to the show

Up and over!

And back on solid ground

Attempting to land on a moving runway! Unfortunately, conditions were too windy for a full stop landing.

Another fruitless attempt

A popular sight at British airshows, Boeing B-17G Flying Fortress “Sally B”

North American P-51 Mustang “The Shark”

And that’s all I have for now because the others haven’t been edited. Bit of a short thread, so I might add some more shots later!

They need to add more warbirds in infinite flight because you only get 2

Was the BBMF there? I had a chance to look round their hangars at Coningsby, what an amazing experience and amazing aircraft.

Great pictures, you for sure caught rare planes.

Your pictures are great! Must have been great to see that show, especially the moving runway must have been fun to watch.
