Okay, my turn now: 2023 spotting recap

Title here

I’ll keep it short: 2023 has been an amazing year for this hobby that has spiraled out of control. I got a decent camera, made some awesome friends to go out and shoot with together and, of course, I cooked.

Time to stop my speech before I start writing corny things

Onto the main topic: here’s 10 of my favorite photos I took this year in no particular order

Amazing backdrop, amazing plane

That livery is great

I forgot to post this on my insta

It was EXTREMELY rainy on this day

This is a photo I took when I went night spotting for the first time. Not bad, eh?

Nighttime spotting is so fun

If I had to choose a favorite photo it would be this

Fall colors + 767 = gud

My most recent photo of a bombardier global 5000 taking off using about 1000ft of runway. I’m not kidding. He started rolling at the runway threshold and rotated at the 1000ft markers

This photo was taken on the same day as the flightradar24 photo for Eindhoven airport. I TOOK THIS WITH MY CASIO POINT AND SHOOT

In short, this year has been one hell of a ride, and I cannot wait to see what 2024 has in store for me.
(I want a new telephoto)

Amazing shots! I feel like the Czech SAR heli and the Swiss Hornet are familiar…
