Last night i flew on a 77W Air China to Shanghai all the way from Chicago! It was an amazing flight and i wanted to make a quick trip report.

We arrived in Chicago from Lafayette on a small C208 Caravan. Southern Airways just opened it’s service from Lafayette to Chicago a little while ago. We flew for about an hour and had a nice landing in Chicago.
As we walk through the terminal, in the distance we see our plane for today. The 77W operated by Air China. This aircraft is 12 years old and was delivered back in 2012. The flight today should be around 15 hours to Shanghai.
I look out the window and try to get a wave by the pilots, but they’re preparing their flight though and i didn’t get one. But the beautiful 77W looked amazing in the sunset and i couldn’t wait until boarding
We boarded our plane and got lucky with a perfect window seat. We stare out the window and enjoy the sun setting over the horizon.
We stare out the window and take in every moment. We look back to see another Air China taking off going space shuttle status! The passengers must be having fun. @Random_AviatorYT summon
Now it was our turn to takeoff and say bye to Chicago. The next 15 hours would be in the sky!
As we pass over Alaska, clouds start to set in and the sun goes below the horizon. I decided to get some rest.
I woke up from the chimes in the cabin about 8 hours later. The Shanghai Airport was off to my left, right out the window.
Touchdown Shanghai. The landing was really good. Butter indeed. We made it after close to 14 hours 30 minutes. We made great time and arrived early. Thankfully our gate wasn’t occupied and we could park and deboard the plane.
We deboarded the plane and looked back out the terminal window’s. This flight was amazing and i will definitely be flying the 77W again!
