Hey there! So if anyone has known me for the last few years, you would know I was stuck in the training server for a year bc of violations throughout 2025. As 2026 rolled around and I got back to grade 3 I thought I would attempt getting into IFATC…
I thought ATC controlling would be simple considering the fact that I had gotten over 2000 operations on controlling just the training server alone, but like all things in life you underestimate something when you don’t consider it’s difficulty. The ATC Manual felt like I was reading a different language, pattern works felt impossible and don’t get me started on PE → Seq → Clr (took me way to long to understand lol).
I attempted my first written test (without understanding half the manual) and got just above 60 percent, i started to look for resources when i came across @ATCMentorshipHub. I enrolled myself and got @Adi08 as my mentor. I attempted my second practical tests however I just fell short at 72 percent, at that point I was about to quit and give up, but Adi didn’t let me, instead I did my practical sessions in ATCMH which helped me a lot in understanding which commands to send in each situation. After two weeks and 14 sessions I finally passed my written with a score of 92 percent!
Practical was more interesting, my first ever practical I was nervous as hell and made sure no aircraft got in a 6nm radius of each other 
, not a good idea as that wasn’t efficient and I failed my first one. But my second one I was determined to pass. And finally after 19 sessions in ATCMH, 5 mocks, A Tinga Tinga Bully session which its better that i dont talk about, and going through all of Adi’s mock and sessions assignments I finally passed my Practical exam!
And I passed on the 18th of April, after which I controlled many airports! On 27th of April I got a message from Infinite Flight Bot telling me that I have officially achieved specialist and I am on checkride! And as of the Day I am writing this, I have officially become a IFATC specialist! I am very happy and thankful to all those who helped me! My Friends in the ATCMH who helped me achieve this feat, @Adi08 my mentor and supporter who made me believe in myself, @nicholas_pace @alabnanhsirk , @LookURFlying2384 , @GummyChewy , @Khey @Yamahi11 . And Many others whom I can’t mention or this message will be over the limit. So yeah thanks everyone for being here with me, and look out for me controlling as I take you to your destination as IFATC Specialist!! 
To Anyone who is thinking of becoming IFATC, do it, it is Amazing! If you feel like giving up, don’t as no one succeds on their first attempt and you will make it! And if you havent already check out the ATCMH, it is truily a great platform and i highly reccomend it!
