Kinda… sadly, the editor who was responsible for the 3D buildings left the project a few days/weeks ago. I am currently looking for another editor to help out, as I am also editing other major airports like Hamburg atm. I will try my best to push a 2D update out asap which should be followed by a later 3D addition in a later update.

I just hope it comes out soon because I would just love to do flights from Glasgow plus Glasgow to Dubai with the soon to be reworked a380 emirates and I live in Glasgow

It’s been paused due to real life issues with the editor.
Hello @Lst_James, the airport is still in the works but work has been very slow in the last month. I’ve started the airport to work on it together with @Skyler.Cooper, who was in charge of the 3D part. I have finished around 75% of the 2D part so far. Since Cooper stepped out of the project a few month ago, the airport is is currently paused. I have been trying to find a new editor to help me out for months now, without success tho. I have decided to change to project to a “2D update” only now. Once I do have more time or I find another editor ti help me, I’ll make sure to leave a note here.

Just found this and THANK YOU so much for working on it. It blows my mind that IF continues to ignore the 9th busiest airport in the UK (by Pax) yet permits 3D models for airports no-one will ever use 😂

It’s the editor’s choice, not the Infinite Flight staff’s choice, on what airports come. When a new person joins, you must start with a small grass field, one runway, and a few buildings max. That’s why we have so many small fields in the simulator. Larger airports are almost always worked on by more experienced editors.

- Is anyone able to give an update as to what is happening with the 3D version of Glasgow airport. We have been waiting a very long time for this.
Hey there. After I was unable to continue with much of the 3D work cause of personal stuff and Skyler.Cooper also left the project the airport was left for some time. 2D is finished for most of the part and a new editor is working on the 3D parts again. progress is ongoing.
