Last week, Atlanta based Delta Air Lines announced a route between their second largest hub in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Denmark’s capital, Copenhagen, beginning in May 2025 using their fleet of Airbus A330-300s. Pushing back with company traffic heading to Tokyo-Haneda taxiing for takeoff behind us

Comfortably flying along at 35,000 feet over Lake Superior, near Michigan’s Upper Peninsula as breakfast is served

Crossing over the mountains on the coast of Newfoundland and Labrador as we head out over the vast Atlantic Ocean.

Flying right over Reykjavik, Iceland’s capital and largest city

We climbed up to FL370 as we crossed the Faroe Islands, where the sheep outnumber the human population by about 30,000

Nice photos - always nice to see my home country! To be fair, it’s a 2.5 hour drive haha

I like this because I once went to Copenhagen then drove to Billund.

Cool trip report.

Now I can afford my 383rd jetblue model, ty

Thank you! For some reason I thought Billund and Copenhagen were right on the same island - apparently they’re on opposite sides of the country!

I’d love to visit Denmark. Seems like such a beautiful country. Copenhagen is a top 5 city on my bucket list for sure.

Bruh.

You’re so kind to let people off the plane after they’ve arrived. Maybe I should start doing that

Nice pictures, I’ve been to Copenhagen in real life. I went last year in the summer but I flew with SAS. A pretty solid airline. CPH airport is also very nice and typically Scandinavian. There’s an awesome Lego shop there but I couldn’t get anything because the Lego I wanted to get was too big. Anyways I have a picture of it here. I’m a big car enthusiast so I was so tempted but it couldn’t fit in my small suitcase :(

I think I’ve been to this LEGO shop before as well, and it’s pretty good. I might have some pictures on an external hard drive lying around somewhere.

You could purchase it, open it, put the bags inside your carry on, and fold the box inside your luggage.

Man it’s been a year I wish I had the thought to do that when I was there 😂. Plus both my backs were packed to the brim anyways.
