RNZAF Action - Two of NZ’s largest military bases will be open tonight as follows:

  • Ohakea (NZOH) open from 2021-09-06T05:20:00Z → 2021-09-06T06:30:00Z
  • Whenuapai (NZWP) from 2021-09-06T06:30:00Z → 2021-09-06T07:00:00Z

Full ATC services will be available at each airport, including NZ Center covering the airspace between them :)

Y’all are welcome to do pattern work at either airport or fly from one to another. 3D buildings at both locations. If you are done with flying to JFK-LAX-LHR…this is an Underrated part of the world; help us raise the traffic levels here.
