Some cool unedited shots of my C172 flight around Taupo Airport in New Zealand. Around 6.20am local time on the casual server. It’s my first go at capturing some shots so go easy on me… lol
We’ll, I love the pics but that approach in a Cessna is insane
you can always go arrrround
If I ever see a pilot go around for any reason I give them a virtual high five. It shows us that the pilot used his judgement and made the safe decision.
We love to fly/live on a edge :-P
That glide slope is high for commercial aircraft, but if you do it right, it works for a 172. Unfortunately, the 172 physics aren’t accurate (yet!) so he might not have made it.
Great photos, Darren!
In hindsight yes, lesson learned… but I did manage a touch and go! Lol good job it was the casual server!
Thanks Will. I did… just… not my best hour, but it was an experience! Lol
I was too busy looking out the window… 😉
