Notifications - new planes, new liveries

Hi all
If there are any updates to new planes and liveries, apart from checking regularly on this forum, will users get notified on the home page of their IF app?
Or is it up to users (who may not be on this forum) to regularly check their available plane list on the app?
Btw, I am a live subscriber.

On the home page of the app, there’s a section with #live:events and #announcements.
