NOTAM warning

Am I to assume I can’t use KJFK right now because of a fly out? I don’t want to press continue then get reported etc

read and follow the notam and you will be fine

Thanks Tom, I’m not gonna risk it though. I can’t make sense of it.

What about ceiling?..

you need to follow approach and departure instructions but fly above the TRF alt listed

Just don’t fly locally. Fly somewhere outside the tri-state area. Don’t make it complicated. Just fly elsewhere after departing JFK

listen to ATIS on the ground first when at jfk or when inbound. there are multiple frequencies being used for app and tower

What would I do if I’m approaching from the west

follow approach instructions closely and you will be fine
