Just wanted to post and figure out why DCA doesn’t have a built in size restriction NOTAM like LGA/YTZ or a special airport procedure like KASE. It’s pretty notable for its airspace restrictions and famous visual approach, so it’d make sense to add both.

DCA can support more aircraft than most people think it can. A DC-10 made an emergency landing there years ago and a 787-8 once operated there

The same goes for LGA, which has a NOTAM in effect.
Widebodies have very rarely made an appearance at DCA. Just because they’ve been accommodated on special circumstances, doesn’t mean the airport is suited for them, just like LGA. The 787 was just a special occasion flight.
I never said it was suited for them, I just said that they can take off/land from here
