Northwest (NWA) was a major airline of the United States 🇺🇲 that was founded in 1926 (was one of the oldest airline in the world) with an headquarter in Eagan (Minnesota), with hubs at Amsterdam, Detroit, Minneapolis, Tokyo-Narita and Tokyo-Haneda (until 1978).
Secondary Hubs were LA, JFK, Indianapolis and Washington-National.
They started theirs operations in 1934 as NWA.
Richard Anderson was the CEO and President of the airline.
They had a fleet of 320 aircraft
They ceased theirs operations in January of 2010 (merged with Delta)


The aircraft is a 31yo and 5 months A320 which is currently flying with Delta as N312US.
Serial number is 152 and it is equipped with the CFM56-5A1’s Engines.

Thx for the repost! I like this livery and seeing as we don’t have the 757 we can use the A320 for Northwest’s domestic routes :)

Topic bump time! Fun fact: Northwest operated A320s on intra-Asia flights from its hub at Narita Airport.
