Do you know about the “Northeast Asian Golden Aviation Circle”?
This is a concept proposed by former President of the Republic of China, Ma Ying jeou, which includes four airports - Shanghai Hongqiao(ZSSS), Taipei Songshan(RCSS), Tokyo Haneda(RJTT), and Seoul Gimpo(RKSS).
Shanghai Hongqiao Airport(ZSSS)
These four airports are all very close to the city center, becoming the first stop for many travelers to these cities.
In order to promote economic exchanges, these four airports have opened opposite routes to each other.
Tokyo Haneda Airport(RJTT)
Taking Hongqiao Airport as an example, when you are going to Tokyo, you cannot find a flight to Narita Airport, and the only option is to fly to Haneda Airport. Similarly, you can only choose flights to Seoul Gimpo and Taipei Songshan at Hongqiao Airport, and cannot fly to Incheon and Taiwan Taoyuan.
