No wind information

When on the ground in the A350 there is no wind information shown on the NAV display so I have to flick back to HUD to see wind direction/speed. Why is this?

Thanks, Jacob πŸ‘πŸ»

I did have this problem but it solved itself after a few seconds, have you tried waiting for a bit?

Well it had the whole taxi to load πŸ˜‚

I noticed that too and was wondering wether it’s intentional or not.

Maybe it just added for a bit of realism?

Is it the same IRL?

Well IRL it would most likely take a few seconds

Yeah, probably but this has nothing to do with time (in IF) from my experience.

Some parameters are not picked up until you get moving. It’s normal.

Does this mean in the air?

I’m not entirely sure what you mean?

There is no wind indication while taxing/lining up which I am pretty sure is there in the A320 with LiveCockpit.

I noticed it gets going on the takeoff roll

So does wind info only shown once airborne?

It’s based on air speed, ground speed and heading.
So until you reach a certain speed, it won’t show anything.

It is a expected behavior.

Just a side note; You have wind info in the bottom status bar, so no need to switch to HUD.
