Just over the last couple of days, I’ve spawned in with the sound not kicking in for some minutes or not at all. Then a few restarts of the app fixes it.
Anyone else experienced this all of a sudden? It might be when changing the voice of the pilot in options once spawned. Not sure

Only happened literally twice today. The first time it kicked in with lots of Unicom messages at once. The second was just silent.
Only thing I remember doing on both those occasions was change the voice of the pilot whilst spawned in.
Is your silent mode off/ sfx/atc sound on?
I have had this exact issue. What you can do to fix it is toggle Siri, and then click it off. Usually, if it does not work the first time, toggle Siri again and it will work.
All checked. This is literally an ‘out of the blue’ thing that’s happened twice today 🫡
-also the first time the sound definitely kicked in all of a sudden, because all the Unicom messages at a busy LFPG I hadn’t been able to hear all came through at once 😮💨
Can I ask, is this when you’ve changed the pilot voice or just a normal spawn in?
Just a normal spawn in. Are you changing the pilot voice after you spawn in?
I was trying to think of anything different I did on these 2 occasions. I may have spawned in and then gone into options and changed the voice 🫡
Not something I normally do, but incidentally it’s happening at the same time
Ok. Try the Siri fix and see if it works. I’m trying to find and paste the other Support topics about this here because I know people have been having trouble with this exact problem recently.

I face an issue with the sound cutting off when I have my headphones plugged in and it happens just as you described. Disconnecting then reconnecting the headphones fixes it. But it does cut off quite often during a session and sometimes never returns. This begun around a week ago
If you’re in the cockpit view when you spawn in, it’s going to be silent until you spool up.
