Slot time is the time window given to every departing traffic by which time they can expect movement. At the same time, it is given to the arriving traffic by which time they expect movement to the gate. Why there are no slot time for all the traffic in any Airport? Slot time would be very handy feature in cases where there is an event going on or there are around 100 operations expected. This would easily lowers the traffic congestion and overall add more realism in the game. This might not be very useful in cases with limited traffic. So, with some threshold value, the decision of whether to allot slots for traffic or not should be given to the ATC. What you guys think?

This is a good idea! The feature actually exists in some form, but is not activated as we don’t have the manpower in IFATC to facilitate it.
Get yourself over and apply and get our numbers up!

I’m eagerly waiting for the time when I’ll have Trust Level 1 and will be eligible to apply for the IFATC and contribute there. Any guidance on what I need to do for it? I’m willing to help the community grow by all means.

To increase your Trust Level, you just need to be active on the forum with posts, likes, etc. Just make sure you are not spamming messages just for the sake of obtaining your desired TL, but rather, focus on interacting well, in discussions you believe you can help, or, generally speaking, your posts will be meaningful (= no random posts). That said, I see you are a “Basic User”, which equals TL1, which is then the minimum TL required for you to apply to IFATC as mentioned here, so you should be good

Okay, didn’t know that basic user is minimum for TL1 but I guess everyday you learn something new. Thanks for letting me know.
