SOLUTION: My topic, which is a timeline of Global seems to be interesting for people a few people…

@Oli

This is going to be a great and massive topic one day!

@Nick_Callum

I find this thread very useful and I quite like the idea. It’s a all in one time line of Global. Thank you for summarizing the progress our Dev’s have made, it’s more fun to read this thread than sifting through 9,000+ posts of random garbage and assumptions.

@Javian_J

Where else have you seen ALL of the information currently known about Global in one long original thread?

@morgan99

thanks, this is a great idea. I had pretty much lost track of the status of global. But now I am up to date.

@dush19

Nice topic though, gotta admit. Rather than the usual feature spam nor guess this nor what should I buy or what is your opinion about, this is better.

@Captain_Louis

your doing a good job:)

@SingaporeAirlines

Thanks for making this for the Community

@BrunoC

This is exciting! Good summary.

@S_Olejniczak

This is awesome.

@g100m

This si one of the best topics I have seen in awhile clean cut and useful and informative great job.

@FlyFi

This is great! It’s like a timeline, and everything’s in one place!

@Flightfan84

Your intentions to share the Instagram content with users that don’t have access to it is phenomenal.

So if the community is currently boring for you, check the timeline for Global out!

Global - Everything you need to know

Some of you might have seen my post from earlier: So, in light of the boredom floating around the community, I’m here to change things around with this topic. Just so you know, this topic is going to be HUGE (content wise) First off, This is the first post (that I could find) from Laura’s Instagram regarding Global: [image] In the caption, she stated that she had just finished her first Trans-Atlantic flight. This post was over 17 weeks ago. If she could complete a Trans-Atlantic flight…

---

I’m not complaining or anything, it’s just that at the moment the topics on the community are not interesting to most people, there is no hype about anything (I know the C-130 was just released,) the evolution of global flight topic has changed to talk about clouds in the sim and the apps such as Inflight Assistant have been released so there isn’t much talk about them. We need some photos from the devs or anything to bring the community adrenaline back up. Some people may think differently than me, but this is just my thoughts.

[Leodhasach]

Why don’t you create some then? Don’t come to us with problems, come to us with solutions.

[bensonb]

I would, it’s just that there is NOTHING to talk about.

[Leodhasach]

There’s always something, you just have to use your imagination.

[zbelle]

There’s no interesting topics, because everything is off topic.

[bensonb]

I’m not going to make up that Global has been released am I? Yes, it would raise the adrenaline levels of the IFC for about five minutes until people realised.

Maybe you should.

[bensonb]

Good point. Most of the topics now are in RWA, which can be not too interesting, and off topic. Especially this topic:

How the Alaska Airlines merger will affect flyers

Hi there :D this is about whats going to happen to virgin america flyers (because some people didn’t want to read it : /)

[bensonb]

Maybe I should. I would likely be suspended for some un-thought of reason

[Leodhasach]

There’s plenty of real world aviation topics you could post about. How about the F35s they’re going to use on the new Ark Royal?

[zbelle]

They probably close it before you did any real damage.

[bensonb]

Not everybody finds RWA aviation in that genre interesting. Many people come on here to find news about the sim.

[Leodhasach]

You could claim that you’ve reached Grade 6. That’ll give 'em something to think about.

[bensonb]

Yeah haha. They probably would do that and then ban me… back on topic :)

[bensonb]

That’s not as extreme, but I haven’t reached Grade 6, so it’s still false

[zbelle]

I probably make a comment like “he probably just reach grade 3 twice”

[Leodhasach]

Grade three squared :-)

I’m off to bed. When I get up I expect @bensonb to have created at least two fascinating and insightful threads for us to enjoy.

[S_Olejniczak]

That’s 9…
