I’m on a Galaxy Note 5 running Android 6.0.1 and I noticed, after it was pointed out to me, that ground atc is missing from TNCM. @Finn’s device, whichever that may be, also shows the same thing. I’m not sure if this is some sort of error or a legitimate update but it would be appreciated to find out what’s going on. Screenshot below. Does anyone else show the same thing? @moderators do any of you have more information about this?
It’s normal ;-)
The airport doesn’t have one IRL.
There’s no ground frequency at TNCM in real life so there’s no ground frequency for IF either. :)
TNCM dosen’t have a ground frequency in real life either.
Didn’t know that. Thanks for the info everyone
So does tower say taxi to parking?
In the real world, the tower frequency would essentially be responsible for controlling tower, ground, clearance delivery, etc. So yes, they can tell an aircraft to taxi to parking. In IF’s sake however, TNCM tower, along with other airports with only a tower frequency but no ground, doesn’t have the option to give ground frequency commands.
I feel like even though it isn’t completely realistic- we should give TNCM a ground frequency.
