No damage on casual server?

Hi, I would like to know how to play on casual server with no damage or possibility of crashing as shown in your TikTok videos.

Can you please advise if this is possible and if so how to do it?

Hello and welcome to the community!

The casual server is a server free of rules because it is the first server new players would need to fly to before flying in the other servers. The casual server in the short form videos are just “funny moments” of what can happen in the casual server, (Note that most of that chaos happens when there are events) as the training and expert server have rules while the casual server dont.

So you can freely fly in the casual server, and crashes will only happen if you let it happen ;)

I think they are asking how to for example nose dive into the ground and not crash like what happens in IF shorts.

That’s my interpretation as well. I’m not on Tik Tok so I don’t know exactly what videos they’re referring to but it sounds to me like they want crash mechanics turned off.

Thanks for the warm welcome! I appreciate your reply. I have entered the casual server on various occasions and can fly quite well but I’d love to be able to do what I’ve seen online where everyone practically flies through each other and there’s no damaged done. I hope this makes sense :)

Ohh, well the only way you can crash is if you hit the terrain hard, colliding with aircraft/buildings has no effect.

Unfortunately no, if you hit the ground too hard you will crash. Occasionally you will get a bug and not crash, but it’s rare. What Tik Toks are you referring to where crash mechanics are seemingly turned off?

Aw ok, thanks a shame. It was actually on Instagram. On the Infinite flight page. It looks like so much fun I wanted to give it a try!

Is this what you’re referring to? This is definitely not possible without some dev build lol.

I find it interesting that IF has shifted to advertising themselves in this way, but I guess as the next generation moves onto PC sims they have to attract younger people.

Yeah that’s a “modded” dev version. There’s no way to do this in the regular app except for the occasional glitch.
