Is anyone else having a issue with no sound when you load into the sim. I’ve tried closing the app and opening it sometimes it works. My volume is turned all the way up, in game volume is up and my sound works fine in other apps. It has to be some kind of glitch and it’s usually only occurs on my iPad.

One of the most common reasons for this is the device being muted.
That means that certain apps will still play sounds (media apps etc), but apps classified as games will not.
To start with, swipe down from the top right corner to bring out Control Center and check if you have a red, highlighted bell icon there. That would indicate your device as being muted.
It happens with me often, try either
1- mute and unmute
2- kill the process and then start sim
3- lock your screen and then unlock
How long ago was the IOS update?
Try triggering Siri while in game, some people said that helps.
