I noticed that there is no airport in Northern Cyprus (was surprised not to see Ercan Int’l Airport (LCEN). Why?

I don’t think they added that airport yet.

The airport is not in the database that the IF airport database originally was forked from. This might be due to the fact that northern Cyprus occupation by Turkey was not international ratified.
As long as no editor is going to edit it, it wouldn’t be in.

Maybe in the navagation update they have every month, they might add the airport.

This airport will likely need to be added from scratch, so it could take some time. What I can do is renew the suggestion in hopes someone helps you out :)

I’ve noticed this airport missing for a while. Surprised no ones added it. Would be nice to fly into from mainland Turkey!

It is a construction site for years now, and no public information is available at all. There is a open issue in the editing tracker, but more then one editor gave up on this one. I wouldn’t do either due to lack of information and good images.
The Greek part airports do serve the island well.
