About Transavia
Transavia is a Dutch low-cost airline, part of the Air France-KLM Group, offering affordable short/medium-haul flights to European leisure destinations from bases in the Netherlands and France, known for competitive prices, charter services, and a focus on holiday travel with modern, eco-friendlier Airbus Neo aircraft replacing older Boeing 737s.

Why do we need this livery?
Transavia recently updated its branding, which therefore needs a change to its aircraft livery request. The user who created the original request is asking for the previous design, whereas I am requesting the newer livery. Personally, I prefer the new tail design; it looks prettier and more modern, even if the overall livery style looks less detailed than the version it replaced.

if they add this I hope they also add the old livery. much prefer that one

Considering they hate retros (to the point of not allowing requests for them*), I highly doubt it.

*They kind of do, but the rules are super confusing.

Given that the “old” livery is the one still on the vast majority of the NEO fleet - I think that one is more likely.

Debatable. Most of United’s 777-300ERs are in the Continental scheme - even more so in 2020. Yet, they still added only the Evo Blue 77W.

Only 4 out of the 20ish they have are painted in Evo blue
So the IF team should add the merger scheme

I’d imagine they think about liveries for the long term. The livery that will be around longer into the future will probably be their first choice

As mentioned above it makes the most logical sense in the long term goals of IF and the airline itself to add the newest livery as it will be a round for the longest!

which would be completely useless because then they’d waste more time painting a livery that is still yet to exist in the game and waste time using a livery that most probably in three years will mostly be rolled out, so I don’t think so.

Why then are they adding the Anadolujet 737 MAX when there is already a new livery in service? Some people like doing retro flights you know

a rule is a rule, I dont know what happened with that livery I dont think we should have it, anyway, it was an exception, as you can tell there arent many retro liveries since the new feature rules were implemented

You could probably word the feature request title to specify that. The title should be New Transavia A320neo so people know it’s different. The registration doesn’t matter since this new livery is coming to the entire fleet
