The community is a great place. I’ve made plenty of friends from VAs. The thing is, we were all at your stage once. You’ll get to know everybody and I hope you enjoy your time here, and on IF.

Hello! A good way to make friends is to join a VA and join events in airports and do group flights with people! Have a good time in the IF sky’s
I can only suggest you to join IFAE as soon as possible. Best Virtual Organisation out here, and, to add a personal note, helped me through really bad times in my life because there is always someone available. we have huge Events amd are unique in the IF Community.

Definitely join IFATC if you can. It’s a really inclusive community, fun, builds character, I love it.

Also, if you want to make some friends, do group flights with people. I made some really good friends there, and if you get to be with them constantly, it’s a nice inner circle that really resembles getting friends in real life: you choose with whom you want to be, and that is something that I cannot stress enough is uplifting.

Guys, let’s not let this topic become a free-for-all advertising of our favorite VAs and VOs. The OP has been given the answer of possibly joining a VA/VO and linked to the database. They can make up their mind as to which one to join. Unless you have something new to add (and as such I suggest scrolling through this topic before replying) maybe there’s no need to comment.
