Hello 
from my apartment in Denver 
! Two weekends ago, after Thanksgiving 
, I went to visit my cousins in New Orleans for a few days; a city that has been on my bucketlist for a very long time! While there, I did all the usual things including vistiting the French Quarter 
, eating too much cajun food, ice skating at the NOLA ChristmasFest 
, visiting Jackson Square 
, plane spotting a little too much at MSY 
, and of course spending some quality time with my cousins! We also did a river cruise 
one night for dinner 
which was one of my favorite parts of the trip, but that wasn’t where the fun ended 
! To cross off a few more bucket list items, my itinarery took me through Bentonville AR for a chance to fly in Breeze’s @Poxy Summon first class product “nicest” aboard the A220-300! From there, it was a United A319 direct to Denver ! All and all, I was very impressed with how much product is offered for how much the flight was - $167, which included a carry on, 1 personal item and 2 free checked bags – much more than I needed 
since I just had my backpack and a small suitcase

Knowing myself, I arrived 
hours before boarding so I’d have ample time to explore the new facilities at MSY, that although opened in 2019, I am just visiting for the first time, and was thoroughly impressed by it’s offerings! This terminal was the complete replacement for the south terminal which had originally opened in the 1950s.
Check-in went very well 
, and the ticket agents were very friendly! I couldv’e eaily done things through the app but wanted an excuse to see the check-in hall which is beautifully designed and full of natural lighting 
and tall ceilings which made it feel more like a hotel lobby than an airport! TSA was just as quick and from there I went to the United lounge since I am a club card holder where I got some bites 
before doing some plane spotting and seavuenair shopping! Of all the plane spotting, my favorite was the British Airways 787-10 pictures above pulling into the gate from London 
on my way to A5 where my Breeze flight was departing from! Currently, at MSY, Breeze and BA are the sole occupants of A concourse which includes customs and immigration services; Rouge Canada parks elsewhere due to U.S/Canadian border preclearance.
Not too long after I got to the gate, our beautiful A220 N203BZ was pulling into the gate after it’s quick hop across the Gulf of Mexico from Orlando @Waxyscorpion308 
, and not much longer after that, boarding commenced; as a “first class” passenger, I was able to board with the BreezeBy group!
At my seat, known as “Breeze Ascent”, I was meet with a multitude of power outlets, a water bottle holder, an electronics holder and 39’ incredible inches of pitch which for someone like myself that is only 5’2", is plenty of room! Despite there being 36 seats, the Ascent cabin was very empty with only 13-15 people, myself including. All and all, the flight maybe had 60 people which made boarding very quick, and we actually pushed back from the gate 20 minutes early 
! Whilst everyone else was boarding, Anderson, who was the purser and first class attendent passed around beverages, of which I had an orange juice 
!
On the taxi out to runway 02, we lost all 20 minutes since we were #8 for takeoff in a line of 12, but eventually we did takeoff and got to hear the beautiful whale 
noises that the A220s PW1500G engines are known for making before rocketing 
into the Lousiana sky and turning west along the southern coast of Lake Pontchartrain 
After we left New Orleans, I got settled in, and used Breeze’s Wifi to get some school work done 
, which was very very fast and included in my “nicest” bundle.
We reached our cruising altitude about 15 minutes after departure 
as we passed over Monroe LA, and very soon after, Anderson came around taking drink orders; I decided to go for a vanilla latte 
which is one of Breeze’s specialty drinks that is included in the Nicer and Nicest bundles, as well as snacks. I went with a snack box that included olives 
, a fig bar, cheddar cheese spread, crackers and a few other things which hit the spot !
About halfway through the flight, we started expirencing some clear air turbulence 
and went down to FL280 which was a little smoother but still rough which turned the seatbelt signs on until TOD.
The subtle rock from the turbulence made me fall asleep 
and I ended up barely doing any work on my computer, but I did wake up to this lovely view of Bentonville airport and the Arkansas countryside 
as we turned left-downwind!
One of my cousins who lives 
in Arkansas with her family is working towards her PPL at XNA flying the Piper Archer got this beautiful picture 
of my A220 as we crossed the threshold about to land! As expected of the A220, our landing was beautiful despite being behind a line of aircraft that Im susprised didn’t cause any significant wake turbulence. After we touched down, it was a very quick and painless taxi to the terminal where our journey on Breeze unfortunately ended 
.
Getting our last view of the lovely A220 as it’s getting ready to head to Tampa and onward to Islip . Right after I took this picture, I went to Smokewood American Grill and had a delicious bacon smash burger 
before heading to the gate where my A320 awaited to take me to Denver to finish out my last 2 weeks of school before the holidays 
!
