New Livery Blue Angels C-130J Hercules “Fat Albert”
The U.S. Navy Flight Demonstration Squadron, commonly known as the “Blue Angels,” is the official flight demonstration squadron of the United States Navy and the United States Marine Corps. Performing incredible aerobatic feats since 1946, the Blue Angels currently operate a fleet of F-18E Super Hornets, with a single C-130J used for logistics support and crew transport.
At airshows, the C-130J “Fat Albert” performs a thrilling demonstration sequence showcasing its powerful takeoff, steep climbs, and tactical maneuvering abilities, highlighting the aircraft’s versatility and the professionalism of its flight crew. Operated by an all-Marine crew, Fat Albert plays a crucial role in ensuring the Blue Angels’ operations run smoothly.
