Hi IFC! So I’m considering trading my old Gen 2 iPad Mini with my brothers to upgrade to the new Gen 5. Would you recommend this? I checked the device compatibility thread and they had the 4th Gen but not 5th. If anyone has this device can you leave some feedback below?

The device can absolutely handle it. Light years ahead of the 2, and the 4 I’m currently on. It isn’t on the list since it’s so new, but there was an update to get some stuff sorted out for it, and the new Air, so assuming you’re brothers onboard, you’re green for go! 😁✅

I’ve already gotten permission from him. He doesn’t particularly like IF but his iPad is cracked a bunch and he doesn’t use it so it’s mine!

Well great, enjoy it, that thing is a beast of a tablet. I’m glad Apple is paying attention to the small form factor for those of us who like it. I need to update my Mini 4 at some point, but it’s good enough for now I think my $500 is better spent elsewhere, have fun!
I used to use iPad 5th gen. and it’s such a great device, I mean, you can stand on whatever you want, that the iPad is going to be good, and it’s going to endure.
