Hey there,

For a new iPad to run Infinite Flight smoothly, consider these options:

  1. iPad Pro (2022 or 2023) - Top performance with the M1 or M2 chip.
  2. iPad Air (2022) - Great performance with the M1 chip.
  3. iPad Mini (2021) - Compact and powerful with the A15 chip.
  4. iPad (2022) - Budget-friendly with the A13 chip.

Any of these will provide a smooth experience for Infinite Flight!

I currently have an iPad 10th Gen which runs IF very well, I got it in January and it’s only crashed twice. Compared to my 9th gen which crashed 40% of the time.

Def recommend latest iPad Air. You can enjoy a powerful M2 chip while maintaining a lower price. I got mine recently in preparation of the upcoming graphic update.

Yeah here’s what I recommend

  1. Samsung Tab S8
  2. Samsung Tab S9

Why Samsung:

See samsung has go waay better with a lot of improvements and 10* better than the iPad. Most reviewers prefer the Galaxy Tabs more than the iPad

Honest review for samsung fan

If you are considering getting the iPad mini for Infinite Flight, read this:

The iPad mini (6th generation, 2021) runs Infinite Flight very well, although you’ll notice shorter battery life unless you leave it plugged in. If you do want to get an iPad mini, there’s going to be a “getting-used-to” period because the 6th gen iPad has a bigger screen and flying in Infinite Flight on the iPad mini will feel cramped at first (unless you also play on a smartphone often, then the iPad mini wouldn’t be a problem). The screen is smaller and therefore all of the controls and UI will feel really cramped, so you will most likely press on controls you don’t intend on touching since you are used to playing on a bigger display. If you want a more immersive flying experience and/or don’t want to adapt to a really small display, buy an iPad with a bigger screen. Otherwise, the iPad mini is extremely portable and it makes a great device for handheld gaming!

If you are considering buying an iPad mini, I would recommend wait until later this year because Apple could potentially release a brand new iPad mini with a better battery and chip performance, which would be really useful for the upcoming graphics update potentially coming later this year thanks to Project Metal!

I recently went from the normal iPad 6 to the iPad Air 5 and couldn’t recommend it more

I’d go with Samsung S9. It has powerful chipset, good screen refresh rate (better than 60hz of iPads) and a better display.
However, if you are Apple fan, I suggest iPad Air M2, which is budget friendly, and yet has all the power you need for IF to run smoothly.

New iPad Air 2024 is doing good.

Try getting something with an A16 chip and above, should run great especially with multiplayer aircraft.

I have the iPad Pro, but the battery drains if I run it at 60fps
