New iPad but can’t restore account

Due to the loss of my iPad 6 months ago I have not been active on IF. I also deleted my old FB account during that time. Received new iPad Pro yesterday and was hoping to restore my annual membership which should still be valid but IF does not recognize my account through any other means but my deleted FB account. I even paid another annual fee but still couldnt create a new account due to a problem through iTunes.

What is the error message you get from iTunes when you try to create a new account?

@Ken_Irwin If you have a google account log into it and it should restore if you don’t then that might be why I am not sure as I have never experienced it after getting another device and transferring it but before my google account when it ran out it kept resetting my stats so check that as it might work I hope you’ll get the stats transferred over to your iPad and it works

I think the OP means that he used a Facebook account to log in to his account with his old iPad but once he got rid of the iPad he deleted facebook and now he can no longer log into his account.

I think the only way is to make a new account with facebook or google and starting from scratch

@Justin0623 ok there is no other option then or his iPad might be too old or something if it has done that

Correction;

If you get in contact with a moderator, mainly Schyllberg, he has the ability to transfer the stats from one account to another. However, what with you deleting your Facebook account, the old profile may not be recoverable.

Instead of people throwing uneducated guesses at the OP, wait until someone like the staff team have a correct answer.

I tried to gain access to my account using the same google email address that IF uses to send me my activity report but IF says it doesn’t recognize the account.
Only way I got access in the past was to use my FB account which is deleted. I know I have several months to go until my annual membership expires. Was hoping to just pick up where I left off.

My user name was either SeabeeKen or Kirwin. Could have been navyguy. Sorry I can’t narrow it down. Any help greatly appreciated. I’m really looking forward to getting back behind the stick with my brand new iPad Pro.

Have you purchased a sub and had a new account created yet?

When I tried to log into IF, i uses my email adddres on file but IF says “no account associated to this profile found in the system.”

The account you have in here is not related to what you have in the app.

Ok to make it even more confusing, I paid for another annual membership and my credit card acknowledges the charge but I’m still getting a message saying there is a problem.

Okay.
Do this:

  • Uninstall Infinite Flight from your device
  • Restart your device
  • Install the app again

First thing you do after launching the app is to tap “Fly online!”

What do you see?

@Ken_Irwin can you remember your last flight you did? As that might help and also how could a brand new iPad Pro cut out on your Facebook account they shouldn’t as mine is an iPad Air that is a little bit newer than the original IPad pro’s
