New Expert Server XP Requirement

Due to a large increase in inexperienced users and pilots not following instructions on the Expert Server, the following changes have been implemented to provide a more pleasurable experience for all on the Expert Server:

Previous XP requirement: 10,000XP

New XP Requirement: 50,000XP

We will closely monitor the new XP change’s effects on the Expert Server to determine if other adjustments are necessary, to include longer server suspensions when ghosted. Thank you for your understanding and continued support!

Great, but it doesn’t fix the problem. it’s very easy to get 50 000 XP . But a step in the right direction

One can hope! I closely monitor all stats of ghosted users and this takes care of a large majority.

If we don’t see change we can consider lowering XP slightly, while adjusting other fields until we find the best fit for the environment we want to promote.

Awe man :( I was excited to be in Expert. But when inexperienced pilots go in and ruin stuff, everyone is affected. Thanks to those people, I can no longer fly in Expert. But I support this as well. Good move.

And before anyone complains:

I generally only have ~15 minutes to fly most days and I am Grade 5. So just fly a bit every day and do touch n goes to build your XP. Read the IF tutorials and watch the videos before joining the expert server and you’ll be fine!

Fantastic! Most of the users I end up ghosting are in the 30k and below range. Hopefully this will allow people to get some more experience, then return to expert!

I don’t have the XP to fly in Expert just yet, but seeing these photos of the inexperienced pilots flying upside down over LAX is quite shameful. I also support this decision. Best move I’ve seen in Live since Casual Server :)

Great decision by the team, Tyler! I definitely think it’s the right thing to do as pilot amount has increased tremendously. Hopefully we’ll notice a change!

Rip the 47K me anyways from my controller side i hope it helps me and other controllers although sadly many nimrods arent just grade 3 but it is a good change of pace interested to see the affect

Sometimes I wish that all the good pilots get to fly on advanced, and all the trolls would fly on casual. Sigh only 40k more xp to go.

Aww I missed having so many people on the Expert Server but this a must soi approve :D

Even though about 50% of the GOOD people that fly on the expert have below 10k. I think this too much of a drastic change. Because a lot of good users have below 50k and really want to fly on expert server but now your not letting them… so the trolls win this too

Hi Tyler, I’ve got 50 hrs and 40,000 XP, I’m still able to fly on expert? Will I get kicked?
