New Camera Spotting! @ KLAS

What’s up Aviators! Today I received a new Camera. The body isn’t that good but the lense makes up for it. It’s a Canon Rebel XSI.

I went spotting straight after and got some awesome shots!

The first spot was an Alaska 737-900ER arriving from Seattle.

I then spotted Cali the Mountain Lion in the A321-200 arriving from Cleveland.

An Alaska A319 landed from San Francisco!

So basically I saw Tennessee One coming in and of course my camera didn’t focus but evidently it came back taking off to Phoenix when I got home

That’s when I moved over to another spot for the best photos!

A 737-800 Heart Southwest Lands from Baltimore.

The 767-300F (I believe) lands from Memphis!

Next up was one of my favorites, United’s new 737-800 from Denver

The Alaska A321neo from Seattle ❤️😍 The frozen fan blades make it look perfect 👌

The 737-900ER Alaska also from Seattle! Beacon like flashing 📍

Last but not least was an Internet A320 from Guadalajara!

These locations were 1 and 4 on the spotting map :)

More Spotting is coming your way!

What was your shutter on the NEO? So jealous of your engine lighting, rare to get that here. Awesome pictures.

I honestly don’t even remember, I’ll try to find out

I’d assume it’s somewhere in the 800-1000 range, and I can figure it out if I ever get light like that. I don’t mean to make you do extra work, just curious because I personally love frozen fan blades 🤤

I’ve heard the leap engines work fantastic for it, I guess just something with there blade design or RPMs or something. Apparently the MAX was fantastic, but the NEOs work too…

IKR they look gorgeous 😍 I tried finding out. I honestly don’t know but it’s probably like you said being around the 900s

So, the camera’s first ever picture was an Alaska 739? Awesome!

Yep, the Alaska looks awesome too! I’m spotting right now so another topic might come very soon 👀

Oh awesome, thanks. Too bad it looks like I won’t have my opportunity now since the 787 that would come in at the exact right time of day and have those nice big engines is now canceled, so RIP me, but those are some awesome shots!

I went spotting yesterday but I only saw one takeoff so they’re all parked. Saw the Boeing Big Boi though!

RIP fences, lol
