I completely get where you’re coming from, I do love myself a simplistic livery as well.
Just me being Belgian I’m being a bit more “sensitive” to this quite drastic change compared to their last livery and the lack of any of the old elements besides the handful of red dots (and their lack of explanation of anything “Belgian” in the livery).
Also one of the things it was compared with a few times believe it or not.

As a Belgian myself, I want the iconic b back, or just something that resembles it. It is bad that they ‘ruined’ the livery, although it’s not bad. I see it as plagiarism to the Croatia livery. They could have done something with more blue and red. But the red dots have to stay. I like how Brussels is written instead of Brussels Airlines. But still, its a loss Belgians have to accept.
I went plane spotting several times, and I see more and more new liveries. The OG b is getting rare.

Necessary bump.
As of the 15th of February 2025, Brussels Airlines officially has no more A319s wearing their old livery (the one we currently have in the simulator).
OO-SSW, the last A319 to wear the iconic “b” on her tail, came back from paint at East Midlands Airport on the 15th wearing her new dotted look.

It would be great to get this livery into the sim to maintain the realism. And to finally get this livery at all.

Well, what is IF waiting for?
We badly need those new liveries, be it the A319, A320, A320neo or the A330. They are all getting repainted and we still don’t have a single updated livery in the game.
On a second note, the repainting went faster than I expected. I saw today on FR24 our A319 (idk what registration) with an old livery picture, but now they’re all in the new livery.
Again hopefully the devs will see this and might perhaps consider some more liveries of Brussels Airlines in the future. (including our brand-new neo), it takes away from the immersion to fly with the old livery now. (though I hope they will keep the old liveries and just add the new ones.)

Yeah. It lasted from 18/11/2021 until 15/02/2025. Started with OO-SSO and ended with OO-SSW. Of course, within that time some A319s were simply retired as well, which sort of sped up the process.

This is a nice livery! Currently the Brussels A319 in IF is the old livery and all the A319’s of brussels airlines are painted in the new liver, we totally need this!

I like the ones with B bc it’s closer to the original logo.
But I won’t complain with the current livery.

Bumping this, right now all the old liveries are repainted and to keep operations realistic, it would be nice to see an updated livery in IF. This Airline NEEDS this!
