What is that blue arrow for?

The blue arrows on the map are way points that you can use when flying to make a more unique route.

No no I mean the thing in front of my aircraft

It’s when you will reach your set altitude :)

Like a line or something

That indicates the rough area of cruising alt. that you’ll be at according to your speed, vs etc

If you are referring to the slightly rounded line ahead of you, it’s the range to altitude arc. You can read more about it here:

It’s for your altitude selected on AP. So if you enter in 2000 the arrow or blue line will adjust based on speed, V/S and altitude.
