Device<iPad pro 12.9>: Operating system<eg iPadOS 18.5>:
I am trying to join back in to my AP+ saved flight which will expire soon and I will loose all of my progress, but when I am joining in, it starts it as a new flight, meaning my flight time and landings are lost. AP+ flight is not carrying on. Furthermore, I have tried to join from my phone, and ended up flying live from two devices, starting from same spot… On the flight log, those flights are showing as new entries, not as a continuation as well.
Please advise on how can I save this flight, I have 3 hours.
Your stats should count, and replays only record active (non-AP+) parts of the flight. I’m more interested to know how to get virtually unlimited fuel and fly an almost 1000 ton A380…
I can not resume my saved AP+ flight. After I go into it and out again it does not save and the 48 hours do not get restarted. Also the flight time restarts every time I go in and does not keep building.
No, it doesn’t.
All of that is server side and is updated and saved as you fly.
To be entirely honest, I’m not sure.. but I almost believe that those things are supposed to “reset” in the status bar as sessions before and after AP+ are counted as separate sessions on our end.
Previously, every time I would resume my flights on AP+, my session flight time would be updating and going up. So I would do one after another 5 flights and at the end when I exit the flight all together, my flight time would be 50 hours.
So, by your logic: if I do for example flight KJFK-EGLL, with AP+ then my recorded flight time would be only 30-60 min that I used for TOL?
Also something to bear in mind:
Our system is NOT designed for these extreme session times. Sure it might work at times but expecting things to be flawless when you’re exceeding 24hours session time isn’t really what we’re looking at.
