Never Be the Same - Independence Weekend Spotting at LAX

With COVID-19, LAX saw major reductions in commercial passenger service to the airport. I was at Clutter’s Park on Imperial Hills, just south of the 105. During my short stay (1200-1400), I only saw a few widebodies, a drastic decrease from what it would have been pre COVID with this time being rush hour for departures/arrival to/from Asia, arrival from Europe, and arrivals from the East Coast of USA.

Regardless, it was a fun experience made more challenging by heat waves and haze :).

I used the AA app to see if the flight is shown under flight status. It wasn’t. The fact that it had a flight number AA9### operating once daily further proves that it is a cargo flight.

Great shots man!
