Hello!
We’re sorry you are having issues connecting to our servers. Please understand that while devices may be the same, the network configuration may be different between users.
Please try the following to resolve your connectivity issue:
This should always be the first step to resolve any issue. Sometimes the server issue is temporary so waiting a short period of time and/or rebooting may help.
If you are on wifi, try cellular if you can. If you are on cellular, try a wifi connection and see if it is any different.
For troubleshooting, try a different network and see if the results are different.
– Shut down IF
– Go into airplane mode on your device for 40-60 seconds
– Turn airplane mode off. This causes your device to reconnect to your network and solves the problem for some.
Ensure you are not on a VPN network or behind a proxy. These will often block the necessary UDP ports for a successful connection to the live server.
iOS
Go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. This also resets Wi-Fi networks and passwords, cellular settings, and VPN and APN settings that you’ve used before.
Android
From the Home screen, navigate: Apps icon Apps icon > Settings > Backup and reset
Tap Reset network settings.
Tap RESET SETTINGS.
If applicable, enter the PIN, password, fingerprint or pattern then tap RESET SETTINGS again to confirm.
In some cases you may need to update your devices DNS settings on wifi to use google’s DNS.
iOS
Here’s how to change your iPhone’s DNS servers:
Android
The DNS can only be changed while on WIFI.
Please make sure you try all the listed steps as described above.
If you have tried all of the steps above, please reply to us with the following information:
Thank you!

Do you have another connection you can try, such as a non-cellular WiFi connection with a different provider?
From what I understand, many Jio users are experiencing packet loss, especially during peak periods, due to network congestion.
Switching to 4G or 3G may potentially provide you with a more stabilized network connection.
If you’ve been using Jio all along without problem, only to encounter issues now, you may want to try again during off-peak hours.
I don’t know a lot about Jio’s network or infrastructure, but I’ve heard many reports of users experiencing problems, particularly with applications which require real-time data transmission.
It’s my understanding demand for Jio’s 5G frequency exceeds their network capacity. I don’t know if this is more of a localized issue or if the congestion or network connectivity chokepoint is further downstream at a network head end —
Just did some additional research - seems a few potential issues at play.
As a result of Jio’s low cost, high demand with new subscribers is bogging down their network
Jio is experiencing severe congestion at network interconnection or exchange points — these are network facilities that exchange traffic between the Jio network and other network providers.
I have seen reports, but cannot confirm, Jio is blocking traffic including VPNs. This is an issue in other places as well for which there are work arounds including VPN protocol and how the VPN disguises the traffic.
I have also seen reports of Jio throttling traffic used for real time communication. A VPN is a potential work around, but you may need a VPN that disguises its traffic well by wrapping it into another protocol unlikely to be throttled.
Definitely try another network — based on what I’ve read, it seems there’s a lot of problems with Jio. It’s possible the issue may resolve on its own, but I’m of impression you’d be better served with another network.
Perhaps other IF users on Jio’s network may have specific advice.
I’ve read the entire thing. I would like to say that the problem is not only limited to Jio. I’m an Airtel 4G user and I’m encountered with similar problem every time. Additionally, I frequently encounter another issue unrelated to IF: my mobile data often degrades from 4G to 2G automatically, and sometimes the network disconnects completely. I can only work seamlessly with Wi-Fi and find it hard to rely on mobile data these days.
Thanks for sharing. I’ve heard Airtel is much more reliable.
It’s historically been limited to JIO.
They’ve been in, lack of better words - a massive pain in our rear the past 2-3 years with their rather odd network configuration.
Airtel have to our knowledge been working fine and you’re the first to indicate that it isn’t.
Does this happen while you use Infinite Flight or what’s the story behind you mentioning this? :)
