Network issue since MAX update?

Hello, so I’ve been experiencing this VERY annoying thing with the Server.
I dont know if anyone experienced this too or its just me

My network was fine and stable but there’s always a moment in EVERY SINGLE FLIGHT at a random moment ( Can be just right after spawning ,while taxiing , taking off , cruising , landing etc. ps : I Like making recording / making cool shots of my landings / takeoff which makes it more annoying since the replay goes wild like the plane suddenly clip thru the ground or flying upward to the space if we were disconnected ) that i got disconnected for no reason at all.

what worse is, the network status keep showing “Yellow” or its still trying to connect but not yet connect, and it only succesfully reconnect once i reset my mobile data ( Turn it off and on again ). that mean it didnt even try to reconnect itself if i didnt do anything which make me ask :

  • Did i get less XP because of this?
  • Did my Flight time even counted right?

sorry for too much yapping on this one , this been happening to me since the MAX update , so i kinda want to get rid of it but dont know how

It is unfortunately that you have to face this connection issue but the most likely cause of this is due to your connection to IF servers I am afraid. There could be a sudden hiccup in your network and the link with the IF servers got cut off hence the reconnection status.

I believe your XP earned will still be the same and yes your flight time is still counted. You can see your flight time and xp clocked when you end the flight.

I have been having this issue also for a little while, seems the sim is having trouble staying connected to the server and it takes a long time to reconnect. I have tried different areas and it is the same result. My home Wi-Fi seems more reliable but when mobile it can be unreliable. Hopefully there is a fix on the way if this is something the devs have noticed and can fix.

Yes, me too. Even when using home Wi-Fi, it often goes from ‘yellow’ directly to ‘red’ (User Disconnected). I overcome this in the same way you do: repeatedly toggling Airplane Mode until it reconnects.

Are you guys using the same internet provider?

A few days ago I also experienced this while flying OEJN-WIII on Expert server. About 70% of the flight, error code 7 suddenly appeared. I was using Wifi. By pressing the retry button it can be resolved, but it’s strange why this message suddenly appears.

Able to reproduce;

Flying long haul specially, after 4h -5h of flying connection disconnected and Error Code 7 appears.

  • I tried to reset the WIFI, Uninstall and install de App, Restart the device. No VPN in use.
  • Internet provider; Orange + Vodafone (Different house’s living)
  • Background apps running; IFAssistant (VNAV Altitudes climbing set)
  • Ipad Storage 60%
  • IpadOS Version 18.3.1
  • No Bluetooth active
