Hi. I am making a Chinese episode about how to play IF. But I have some problems with that when I’m doing the introduction of the instrument part, I have little trouble with the Chinese translation. Can anyone fluent in Chinese can help me? Thanks 😊
But they’re not very good for translating… they often gets wrong translation.
And thats four years ago.
Ok. I see. Although they’re very fast, however, I think they can only get 30% aviation words correct…
Maybe because (as I understand it) there are multiple dialects in Chinese.
Hey! If you have some translation problem, feel free to PM. 😉
Thanks for your help
The fact that Google Translate can translate something regarding putting something in the refrigerator to stuffing a cow beats me. Do not use Google Translate, especially if you’re trying to make a tutorial. All of the native Chinese speakers and scholars will start laughing at you. So will I.
Same goes for the try-hards in #support:espanol and #support:francais. As a French speaker for 10 years, I know when you’re using Google Translate.
So what’s your point? Should I stop making this?
My point is, don’t use Google Translate, even as a last resort.
For your specific purpose, I think it’s best you leave it to someone that is fluent in Chinese and can speak and fluctuate clearly. I don’t want to discourage you from doing it, but I don’t think it’ll be the best.
Ok maybe @ CrisYe or @ AirChina196?
Is the video tutorial really needed? I mean, there’s a tutorial here that works just fine, no?
I have finished a half video
If you’re making this, I suggest asking someone who studies or works in aviation industry.
I currently majors in Air Traffic Management and have done multiple Chinese tutorials. I can assist you with some translation of terms If you need some help.
Ok I will pm you tmr cause I really need to sleep
I can speak Mandarin fairly well, by no means fluent though. I can offer some help though if you need it!
Thanks a lot :)
Maybe should I only teach how to takeoff or more easier?
