Recently Infinite Flight showed us the First Look of the 21.1 update, the 3D buildings and graphics looks amazing, but high graphics also means high temperatures on our devices. Today I will show you guys a little review of one of the most popular phone coolers, the Black Shark FunCooler Pro!
The Black Shark FunCooler Pro comes with the Cooler obviusly and a USB-C to USB-A cable.
The cooler comes only in black, it has a fan in the center wich has a RGB in the borders for a “Gaming” design. The back has in-built spring-loaded clamps and protective silicone mats.
In my case I’m using the Samsung S10 (Exynos 9820). Before using the cooler the phone was at around 42°C when starting a flight with everything in Low-Medium graphics, also it suffered crashes and reboots due to the high temperatures, but once I started using this cooler the temperatures dropped from 43°C to 24°C, that allowed me to adjust all the graphics configuration to the maximum, also the crashes didn’t happened anymore. Here are the temperatures that I tested with it:
|Event or flight||Temperature||FPS|
|Whacky Racing: Caribbean Sprint||24,7°C||Around 47-57|
|FNF: Mallorca to London Gatwick||25,9°C||Around 52-60|
|SCEL - SCIE with the 787||21,8°C||Around 55-60|
|KSFO - KLAX with the 757||25,1°C||Around 30-53|
|KMEM - KLAX with the 77F||24,5°C||Around 30-60|
|EGLL - KLAX with the A350||29,4°C||Around 35-60|
Every flight were tested with these graphics configuration:
|Limit Frame Rate||Off|
|Airplane Count||Very High|
