Red, green, and white tail nav lights are visible from opposite side of aircraft from where they are positioned. these should not be visible, like the landing lights are, to be able to see what side of the plane you are looking at.
I’m sorry to say, but this isn’t a bug. Rather, it’s entirely intentional. In most aircraft the nav lights are visible all the way around, but furthermore, those lights use a different method for generating than the landing lights use. If you notice, the nav, beacon and strobe lights map such that they are always on a plane perpendicular to the FOV, whereas the landing lights are on a fixed plane, perpendicular to the direction of the aircraft.
