Nav data airac

I would like to know what AIRAC cycle does IF use? Also, I’m currently using Sim brief free version and it uses 2203. There are alot of missing waypoints on IF but it can be easily added though.

It’s a bit complicated:

For the US, I believe its the most updated one as of when 24.4 released (which was AIRAC 2412).

Outside the US, the navdata uses AIRAC 2103 (I think - its from 2021 at least) so a lot of the procedures are outdated, or the runway label is wrong (if the airport has changed runway numbers since 2021.

Fortunately using Simbrief integration, it does just “create” waypoints (unless that waypoint name has an existing location in IF, then it can go wrong…). The solution to this is to use IF Flight Plan Tools FPL Editor, finding the coordinates of the actual waypoint and modifying it. Then re-downloading the .fpl file and importing back into Infinite Flight.

Thanks for sharing it and it’s good to know atleast us region have the fairly latest version. I’m currently using flight radar and using kml to customise the waypoints on preset ones though sid and star procedures are still outdated. I have also find about arc curve departures posted in this forum like few years back, but it only covers europe and American regions and would like to be available for DXB since I’m always flying in Emirates.
