Narita terrain glitch

Device: Motorola edge 40
Operating system: Android 13

This morning i landed, or at least it was my intention to land at Narita. Unfortunately that didn’t pan out as i expected. My approach was uneventful and stable all the way up until flare and touchdown, however that last part didn’t ever happen. I was about to touch down but i glitched and fell through the terrain effectively ruining the part looked most forward to after my 10 hour flight. This actually is the first time this type of terrain glitch happened to me, although it should be said i also never landed at Narita before so I wasn’t aware it was an airport maybe prone to this type of glitch. Had i known i could have probably gone around while it was still within my limits and i could’ve tried landing on the other runway, however i was completely surprised. At that point my plane was already stalling out in the underworld so i decided to end the flight to my disappointment. I double checked my connection and can confirm it definitely wasn’t the issue. I stayed perfectly connected the entire duration of the glitch.

Hope this gets looked at.

Sorry to hear this ruined your flight.
To solve terrain issues, please clear the scenery cache from the settings and restart the app.

I did immediately after, of course as you can imagine i didn’t know that was about to have this issue until the touchdown and at that point I couldn’t save it by this solution. I had different scenery issues before but not that severe and not at this critical moment of the flight.
Still thanks for the quick response, appreciate it

Aircraft falling through the ground is a sign that the scenery cache has developed some sort of issue.

Unfortunately there is no way of knowing when this might occur.

Clearing the scenery cache will solve it.
After doing that, the issue usually doesn’t occur any time soon.

I see, well it it certainly was really unfortunate but i understand that can happen.
In any case thanks for the help and quick response once again.
