N1% calculator

Hi,

I hope that whoever is reading this is having a good day so far.

I made this post because i hade a question to devs.(I am aware of all thata is going on and mean to add no pressure to the already heavy workload from all the reworks.) I was scrolling through a different Discord server and saw someone ask this:

. And it sparked an i dea in my head wich i believe i already had. And goes as follow: What if Infiniteflight had an N1% calculator. Now this could be important scince the planes like the A350, A339N, 777, 787(wich is getting reworked so this might not be valid for much longer), 767(same for this plane) etc, etc… do not have the same exact physics as real life they are good, but, some of them feel underpowered compared to rel life so i ask this because maybe with a calculator calibrated specifically for Infiniteflight could make flying in Infiniteflight easier and more realistic. At first when i thought of this idea i also thought of other things like V-Speed calculator… but scince we already have SimBrief this is no longer needed. And i thought of maybe when importing FPL’s from SimBrief to not load everything at once, now this is not meant to be like GSX but what i mean is for the plane to sink slower to simulate everything and everyone boarding the plane one by one. Anyways that was it have a nice day firther thank you for reading. And shout out to:

also, @BennyBoy_Alpha beat you!

Hey there!

We sort of do already have this in the form of a third-party website that has been built using Infinite Flight Data:

Select the aircraft (grouped by maker), and input your weight %. It gives you the takeoff thrust %, V-Speeds, etc…

You can also find N1 percentages on some of the more recent aircraft guides like the A380 and 737 MAX Profiles Guides, which I’ll link below:

Here’s an example from the site:

It’s not 100% accurate but it’s good enough the majority of the time.

I am scared of putting posts in those places cus i got scolded and my post was moved to general

Read the guidelines for each topic, please.
The topic you put it in is your choice, but I recommend that this is better for Support There is no problem putting it in general of course. (for obvious reasons)
