MAI Background Information
Myanmar Airways International is a major airline operating out of Yangon, Myanmar, and is (as of 18 March 2025) the only airline to operate the A320/19 family. It is one of the 2 major airlines in Myanmar, along with MNA, and is the second biggest in fleet size after Mingalar Air Services. (Air KBZ) It has a fleet size of 9 aircraft, consisting of 2 Airbus A320s, 4 Airbus A319s, 2 Embraer E190s, and 1 ATR 72-600. The airline is owned by 24 Hour Group of Companies, along with Mingalar Air Services.
A319 Background Information
The A319 is an extremely successful member of the Airbus A320 family. It is slightly shorter than the A320. It is often described as one of the most versatile aircraft in the market, with its low operating costs, medium-haul capabilities, and extremely customisable cabins.
Importance of the MAI A319
The MAI A319 is the arguably most important part of MAI’s fleet. It by far controls most of MAI’s routes and even regularly takes trip to destinations like Dubai, Seoul, and Novosbirik. The A319 is the gem, the centrepiece of the airline, and it being added to Infinite Flight would unlock (and I will stand by this) the whole country and more.
Summary
All in all, the MAI A319 could be a great asset to Infinite Flight if it actually gets added.
