Good luck with your PPL! Are you starting with ground school? I’m 15 and will be staring ground school in approximately 13 months.

I remember my first flight too. However, I’ve decided to start a bit later so that i can actually pay for it, and so that I only have to spend 8 months between starting and finally getting my license.

Please tell me how you like them I’m currently at With a person out at ADS and liking him but looking for some other options.

I’m just looking at the people in the US saving up to get their licence whereas my friend in Canadian cadets can get his ppl as a scholarship for free through air cadets

I did a discovery flight there. To earn your PPL at Americans Flyers, it’s about $2,000 more expensive than it is to get it at Monarch Air.

Good luck on your piloting adventure!

I got my PPL a few months ago and I’m currently working on my Instrument Rating. The ultimate goal is to be flying jets for the airlines… something I should be doing within 3 years.

Excited to follow this adventure! Let me know if there’s anything I can do to help :)

That’s gonna take a while then. In most states you can’t get the license until you’re 17
