I noticed this too. This setting can be changed by admins: auto close messages post count
In addition, the post deletion time is now only 3 hours instead of 24.

We changed a few minor settings to help the moderation team in their duties. The post limit for a PM is now 2500, and we changed the post deletion time to 3 hours as Ondrejj says. There are a few other changes that you may see too relating to new users.

Misha,why would you write the limit? They are crazy about this. They already clocked at 1000 messages, why won’t they go up to 2500?
The limit will be found soon enough anyway. Saving everyone the spam to find it!
